The Elements Cafe crew asked us to design them a clean, contemporary website designed to showcase their fine-dining offerings, casual lunch atmosphere, great coffee and super-friendly staff.

The resulting website is easy on the eye, a breeze to use and maintain, and makes downloading the latest cafe menus a breeze. The site is currently being upgraded with more nifty features designed to tickle the tastebuds of prospective cafe patrons, and enable the Elements staff to connect with their patrons in a more personal way.

We recently launched the Elements Cafe website, utilising some stunning photography by local photographer Dean Zilwood. The Elements Cafe crew asked us to design them a clean, contemporary website showcasing their fine dining offerings & casual lunch atmosphere, great coffee and super-friendly staff.

District 9 trailer

We had the distinct honor of working with talented Neill Blomkamp, the director of District 9 (produced by Peter Jackson) and the Weta Workshop’s lead concept artist Greg Broadmore, on storyboarding the movie script, collating the concept art and producing a pitch document in a hard-cover graphic novel format.

It’s extremely gratifying (to say the least!) to finally see Neill’s vision come alive on the big screen. We are in process of seeking approval from Sony Pictures for use of the concept images created, keep an eye out for updates on this space. Flying Saucer Films

Flying Saucer Films had a vision of how they wanted to be seen online, and engaged us to help create their new brand and interpret it online. The site utilises an approachable and engaging retro 50′s aesthetic, and boasts a custom-built content management system designed to enable the Flying Saucer staff to easily manage multiple video clip and photo libraries that the website utilises.

Surf & Snow

With over 20 years of industry experience, Surf n Snow are Wellington’s specialist in supply of surf & snowboarding related gear and apparel. We were thrilled when they approached us to design them a website and take their existing brand online.

Our mission was to design a website that incorporated category-specific specials, as well as enabling the Surf & Snow staff to send out targeted SMS promotions via an online interface.

With over 60 years of wool spinning experience Woolyarns New Zealand are firmly established as one of NZ’s biggest wool yarn exporters to the world. We’re extremely proud to have been chosen to represent this iconic Kiwi brand through design of a wide range of marketing material and communications.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Woolyarns’ flagship brands such as Zealana KiaOra, Zealana Eco and Zealana Aspire, and have designed a number of posters, in-store promotional material and packaging.

Weta Workshop

Having developed a strong working relationship with the Weta Workshop design department we were asked to conceptualise a series of licence-related websites, as well as design 18 A1 concept art boards to be used for purposes of pitching for movie projects.

The boards were extremely well received by both the movie studios and Weta crew, and are proudly taking up a large chunk of wall real-estate in the Weta’s concept design room.

We designed a line of hugely popular posters and catalogues for The Lord Of The Rings, Narnia and King Kong movie licences that were used to promote Weta’s collectible ranges at retail outlets and trade shows, both locally and internationally.

Following the great feedback we received from the Weta crew we were asked to design the packaging for the Doctor Who range, as well as create promotional material for the launch of Greg Broadmore’s Dr Grordbort’s Contrapulatronic Dingus Directory.

Bamford Limited

Working alongside Aspire Marketing Solutions we helped re-fresh the Bamford Limited’s brand, one of New Zealand’s leading independent medical supply companies. In collaboration with Aspire we designed a new logo, art-directed a photoshoot and conceptualised a range of promotional collateral, including a product catalogue and large-format display stands.

The Laughing Samoans

The Laughing Samoans are a Wellington based comedy duo, comprised of Eteuati Ete and Tofiga Fepulea’i. Their first show was called Laughing With Samoans back in February 2003, and has since found a massive international following and aclaim. We’re thrilled to have been involved with Ete & Tofiga over the years and to have designed their website, posters, DVD’s, T-shirts and other promotional material.

Working alongside Cieffe’s yacht-racing team, we helped design the team gear and graphics for the yacht and sails. By balancing the material properties and functional aesthetics of the racing sails, we pushed the limits of the available screen-printing methods and assisted Cieffe in bringing their brand to the water.

The Powder Room

The Powder Room has been adorning Newtown since February 2005. In this time they have been creating fabulous do’s for Wellingtonians and clients from afar, specialising in cutting, colouring and special occasion hair and makeup.

Having had their brand already established and a loyal following of clientele, we designed a rich-media site to match the retro character of the salon. The outcome was an immersive and a hugely popular Flash-based site, utilising dynamic XML to enable The Powder Room staff to update key aspects of the website themselves.

Chameleon Events, the film logistics and event management company, recently engaged us to develop a web presence to keep in line with their rapidly growing company profile.

Needless to say, we were chuffed to have Chameleon choose us to create their place on the web. Having organised the King Kong and the LOTR Return of The King premieres, Chameleon Events had firmly established themselves as New Zealand’s premiere events company. We designed and implemented a sleek new site, geared towards showcasing Chameleon’s extensive client portfolio and event management capabilities.
