Working closely with Sir Richard Taylor, the director of Weta Workshop, Fahrenheit helped project manage the re-design of the Wetanz.com website, research and confirm its proposition and positioning, and help implement extensive e-commerce capabilities. The goal was to create a user-friendly, engaging, and visually stunning website that effectively showcases Weta Workshop’s work and allows customers to easily purchase products online.
To achieve this goal, Fahrenheit collaborated closely with Weta Workshop’s digital team and third-party contractors. We helped design the website’s information architecture, interactive product-display modules, and other mission-critical functionalities. Through this process, Fahrenheit was able to ensure that the website was visually appealing, highly functional, and easy to navigate.
Fahrenheit was instrumental in the launch of the Weta Collectibles, the merchandise subset of Weta Workshop. Our team was solely responsible for the conceptualisation and design of identity, brand collateral and packaging for a number of key movie franchises including The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit trilogies, King Kong, Narnia, District 9, Doctor Who, and numerous other projects.
